Why specialist teaching
The IBDP is not the A-Level with a different name.
It has its own assessment style, a compulsory Internal Assessment in every subject, Theory of Knowledge alongside it, and a global rubric that rewards one very particular kind of answer.
Most students who struggle in IB exams are not short of intelligence. They are short of three specific things: command-term fluency, the subject vocabulary the rubric actually rewards, and a way of laying out an answer that collects method marks even when the final number is wrong.
Those three are teachable in weeks. Content takes longer. We usually start with the three.
